🐟 Beyond the Catch
We’re not just here to help you hook a fish — we’re here to give you something real.
This is about learning the water, building confidence, and doing something you’ll actually remember.
It’s about respect — for the bay, the fish, the people you're with, and yourself.
We guide with purpose.
We keep it safe, honest, and laid-back.
And we don’t just send you out — we show you why it matters.
This is what we believe in.
This is how we fish.
This is what makes us different.

Why It Matters
We’re not just here to fish — we’re here to build something that lasts.
We stand for:
-
Respecting the water, the wildlife, and each other
-
Creating space for women and girls in outdoor sports
-
Making room for beginners and helping people feel confident on the water
-
Sharing our knowledge, not keeping it gatekept
-
Leading with loyalty, safety, and joy
💬 Our Core Values
These are the currents that guide everything we do — on the water, in business, and in life.
🛶 Empowerment Through Experience
We believe in helping people discover what they’re capable of — especially beginners, women, and young girls. Confidence is built one cast, one paddle, one adventure at a time.
🧭 Respect for the Water
We treat the bay like it’s our home — because it is. We teach responsible fishing, eco-awareness, and conservation so that the fish (and fun) stay for generations.
🤝 Community Over Competition
We’re here to build a community, not gatekeep it. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or stepping into your first kayak, you’re part of the crew when you paddle with us.
🔐 Safety is Non-Negotiable
No fish is worth risking anyone’s wellbeing. Every trip is run by a certified guide with CPR & first aid training — and every client gets a full safety briefing before hitting the water.
💥 Real Vibes Only
We show up with grit, heart, and a good sense of humor. We’re not a corporate tour. We’re a veteran- and women-owned crew doing what we love — and we bring that energy to every trip.
🐟 Our Story
Built from the water. Fueled by purpose. Backed by grit.
Dirty Shrimp Salt Crew started with a passion — and a paddle.
Eileen, a U.S. Army veteran and marine biologist, found her purpose on the water. She built a nonprofit to help women and kids experience the outdoors, and in doing so, lit the spark that became something bigger.
What began as small fishing trips turned into something deeper — a way to empower people, build confidence, and create community in a space that too often feels closed off to newcomers.
That’s when Britanie joined the mission. With a background in education, psychology, and a deep love for people, she brought the business to life behind the scenes — building systems, sharing stories, and helping the Crew grow.
Together, we turned one kayak and a dream into a movement.
We launched Dirty Shrimp Salt Crew not just to guide people on the water, but to help them reconnect — with nature, with each other, and with parts of themselves they didn’t know they needed.
This isn’t a big corporation. This is a women- and veteran-owned small business, rooted in hard work, respect, and salty Gulf Coast vibes.
We’re here to teach, to guide, to grill, to laugh — and to remind you that you belong out here, too.
